Under the Auspices of the “GAIA” Arts Association: The Launch of the Second Season Honoring Outstanding People of Determination from the Heart of Qalyubia
Within the framework of its strategic vision to integrate and empower creators across the Republic, the GAIA Arts Association organized a grand ceremony to honor outstanding People of Determination in the Qalyubia Governorate. The event was held in the presence of Dr. Jihan Hanafi, Head of the Central Administration for Youth Development at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
This ceremony marks the second milestone in the “Season of Honoring People of Determination” launched by the association across Egypt’s governorates, following the great success of the first edition which witnessed the honoring of El Nasr Club champions in Cairo. Through this expansion, “GAIA” affirms that its ultimate goal is to reach all governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt to sponsor and support People of Determination in every corner of the homeland.
The ceremony commenced with the national anthem and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. This was followed by artistic, musical, and performance segments brilliantly executed by outstanding People of Determination from various associations, schools, youth centers, and clubs in Qalyubia, amidst great interaction and applause from the attendees.
For his part, Artist Fares Mongi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the GAIA Association, emphasized during his speech that the association is the proud creator of this event’s concept. He stressed that “GAIA” pays immense attention to presenting this honor in an exceptional and highly organized manner that befits the efforts and excellence of our champions of determination. In a mutual gesture of appreciation, commemorative shields were exchanged between Artist Fares Mongi and Dr. Jihan Hanafi, reflecting the fruitful cooperation between the association and the Ministry of Youth and Sports in supporting this creative segment of society.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, Dr. Jihan Hanafi and Artist Fares Mongi toured the exhibition of handmade and craft products created by People of Determination. This exhibition is part of the activities and programs of the Psychological Support Center for People of Determination, a project implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
The celebration concluded with the honoring of the outstanding People of Determination and their parents, in addition to honoring all the participants involved in the preparation and organization of this event, which reflects the ongoing commitment of the “GAIA” Association to supporting creators in all governorates of Egypt.
